Wormwood prophecy

Wormwood Prophecy formed together as a band in late 2008, but the epic journey started many years ago when five young metal head in high school decided to throw away their social life and hone in on their instruments. It wasn't unil Jon Broadbent (guitars and vocals) teamed up with Mat Matsuki (guitars and back up vocals) regularly having shred jam sessions having the same influences. The shred masters such as Paul Gilbert, Jason Becker, Yngwie Malmsteen mixed with the pure metal of various Finnish and Swedish bands,It was obvious they had something goingon. The pursuit was on for the rest of the line up.

Another regularl jam guitarist of Jon's, Steven Nix, was introduced into the mix one day when he was invited to come jam out. While no extra guitar was readily available for him, a lonesome bass sat in the corner and it was clear he found his calling. Steven wanted to play some metal and drink some beer. Jon took up the large role of multi-tasking vocals and lead guitar. And so they began to write songs...

After a few songs and playing house parties with random drummers, the time for a real drummer arose. Victor Corrales responded to an online ad about the position, came out and jammed for an afternoon and before you knew it, he was hanging out and writing.

The addition of a fifth member in the near future, a live keyboardist will be accompanying Wormwood Prophecy on their future tours while they search for a permanent member to fill the spot.

With the full length debut album almost complete, all recorded and produced by themselves (as the songs we have posted were as well) being the tech heads and DIY'ers they are. With tours being booked, Wormwood Prophecy is ready to head out on the road once again this time to unleash pure fury on those victims.
