Then there’s the Wounded Cougar tune, “Drop Your Panties”. Despite its short length, this is one very, very catchy song and might be the best on the entire soundtrack. It’s as if someone had thrown The Clash and Dead Kennedys into a blender with Tenacious D; eventually coming up with a new tasty treat known as Wounded Cougar. Great stuff! - Club IGN

The song "Drop Your Panties" was featured on the hit TV show "Masters of Horror" on Showtime and the accompanying soundtrack. Beck fans have already created a fan page, made their own shirts and have taken it upon themselves to put their songs on various internet radio stations.

Wounded Cougar is the band involving all the members of Beck's band. Like how The Band broke off from Dylan, except a tad more evil! The band was conceived on the way to a Beck gig they had to open for because the original opening act bowed out. They tore the heads off the sold-out theater, created a myspace page after they walked off stage and recorded an album the day they got home from tour. Since then they've opened for more Beck shows and played their own gigs in Australia and Japan. What began as a joke has now turned in to an indisputable reign of rock and roll.
