In a comfortable Utah coffee house, you’ll find a crowd connecting with Wren as her dynamic and soulful voice rises over a strummed acoustic guitar.
Wren’s folk-rock songs are both passionate and pensive, and illuminate the struggles and joys of life with a wry wit and hard-earned perspective on our common human experience. Her songwriting is inspired by artists like Ani Difranco, Tom Waits, Joan Osborne, KT Tunstall and Kris Delmhorst.
On stage Wren creates innovative versions of original and cover songs using loop pedals to record on-the-spot layered rhythms and textured vocal melodies which turn her into her own one-woman backup band.
