Feeling a bit camera shy

Hailing from northern California, The Well Respected Gentlemen are: Jake Sockolov, prolific song writer and vocalist, frontman of former Sacramento rock bands Viktor-3 and Mixed Signals. Mike Jordan, also of Mixed Signals, a classically trained musician of thirteen years, with perfect pitch and four years of experience with a touring musical company. T.J. Siewert, with a fifteen year track record on the drums, recently winner of the Warped Tour S.F.'s "Battle of the Feet" drumming contest and finalist in the World's Fastest Drummer (Extreme Sports Drumming) "Battle of the Hands" competition. Wes Holliday, guitarist for eleven years, producer and collaborator in over 50 original recordings, formerly of Viktor-3, Mixed Signals, and Davis progressive rock band Solairen.

The Well Respected Gentlemen formed in Nov., 2004. In the past, the various gentlemen have played at west coast venues including the Mondavi Center, The Boardwalk, The Underground, Raley Field, The Powerhouse Pub, Club Retro, The Net, Club Vinyl, Old Ironsides, Scratch Eight, Time Out, Rooster's Roadhouse, Cheers and high schools, colleges, community centers, and festivals in the NorCal area. They have had their various tunes spun on KRXQ 98 ROCK and 107.9 THE END and have had their recordings featured on 98 ROCK's "Sacramento Rocks" compilation CD and on the Stanford Soundtrack, in addition to live performances that have been aired on Channel 31's "Good Evening Sacramento" and KXTV News 10 (ABC) television broadcasts. Between the four, over 80 original tracks have been recorded, many of which have been made available through the iTunes Music Store, CDbaby, Napster,,,, and Rhapsody. Over 5,000 hard copy CD's featuring their individual songs have made their way into the hands of area music fans and many more are on the way. Now the Gentlemen join together to rock out with their finest tunes yet. The music of the WRG goes from high-gain, high-energy to mellow and melodic—powerful modern rock all the time.
