Biography

Three eighteen-year-old Chicago-area guys create energetic original music influenced by The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, Jimmy Eat World, and Elvis Costello. Their music delivers lyrical and melodic sophistication rare for such a youthful power trio. For the most part, they write and sing about life and growing up, adding a wink and a nod with quirky songs like “Pizza Delivery Girl” and “Peer Pressure”. A strong vocal delivery with crisp, creative instrumental arrangements combine teenage angst with humor and irony.

I'll Be Cool

Written By: Paul Gulyas

I thought three times about
getting out of bed today.
I'm not lazy or tired, I'm just getting sick, sick of pretending that the way I feel about you would pass like the weather.
Or maybe in a few days I'll forget you all together.
I'll be cool, all right.
Even if you don't miss me tonight.
I'll try to hypnotize myself into thinking i don't want you. I don't need this any more. But the operation went bad, my body has rejected this apathy.

The Captain

Written By: Paul Gulyas

I think I'm finally on my way. I think I'm finally on my way. Is it true? What they say about you? You're not as easy as you look sometimes. It would be easy if you took your time. And you're so fine, you're so fine, but some things will just never be mine. I think I'm finally on my way, I think I'm finally on my way.
And It's true. What they say about you. You're not as happy as you look sometimes. Let me change it, if for just one night. And I can make believe I'm everything you'd make of me. I'm as stupid as I look this time. But has that ever been a crime? I am the captain, and I swear to God that I'll get you home tonight. And I'll just pull over, cause I know a way that we could kill some time.
Take a seat. Oh, take a seat. Stop trying to control me. Sit back and I'll let you see. You're so fine, you're so fine. But some things will just never be mine. I am the captain, and I swear to God that I'll get you home tonight.

Your Way

Written By: Paul Gulyas

You say it's not worth the drama. Well you're worth the drama, I know. And if it's only for a while, then please don't put my file on hold. Will you call me up this weekend? Or maybe someday, someday. And then I'll pretend that I'm busy, so maybe you would miss me. I don't wanna have to say I could have, so tonight I've got nothing to lose. And I don't wanna have to say I would have, so tonight I've got everything to prove. I'm four days coasting to the weekend. We'll see what happens this time. And even though my chance is long gone, maybe it'll happen tonight. And I don't wanna get in your way, but maybe your way would get in mine. For now, give me another reason to wait a few more weekends. I don't wanna have to say I could have, so tonight I've got nothing to lose. And I don't wanna have to say I would have, so tonight I've got everything to prove.
