Bio
Wuddha and The Boogilistics stand poised to make an indelible impression on the music world. In the spirit of R&B pioneers like Al Green, Stevie Wonder and D'Angelo, they fuse the vintage sounds of Motown with the pulse of modern soul.
The heart of the band is the collaboration between singer Wuddha and his band, The Boogilistics, Spearheaded by Seattle's veteran R&B guitarist Thaddeus Turner. Wuddha (the grand nephew of Willie Dixon) grew up immersed in the blues and R&B, bringing a power and authenticity to the music that many can only imitate. Thaddeus Turner has gained a national reputation as an outstanding guitarist while touring with the 90's break through hip hop group, "The Digable Planets". In Seattle, Thaddeus co-founded the group "Maktub" which has been critically acclaimed in the U.S and overseas. Combining these talents, Wuddha and The Boogilistics knock out crowds with convincing groove, melody and positive energy all tied into one unique sound.
