"Common Ground Coffeehouse"

On the cusp of revival, wur’ship project opens the floodgates of their hearts and beckons us to open ours. Their lyrics linger and leave the ears and the heart longing for more: “In the valley I will sing your praise/ In the desert still seek your face/ In the storm, though I cannot see, I will live by faith.” Hailing from the heartland of Kansas, this band offers much of what is lacking in Christian music today: humility of heart. Wp speaks from the depths and offers truth found in searching the Scriptures and coming to terms with personal experiences. In “Falling Down,” a new ballad from front man, Jeremy Neely, he confesses, “How beautiful it is to fall down.” This band seeks to be a blessing and pass that blessing on to others. They bring a peace to venues that transcends the norm; a peace that comes when one accepts the call and allows that call to become a driving passion. Wanting to journey closer to God’s heart and recognizing that God has called them out, those who hear their music cannot help but allow wp’s words to challenge us to be more than we are in hopes of becoming all God calls us to be.

Bio

When looking at the life of Jesus, whether He taught, walked, rested, or ate, every move He made was to bring glory to God. Paul tells us in Romans 12:1 that offering our lives as a living sacrifice is a spiritual act of worship. Lump all this together with some pseudo phonetics and you get Wur'ship Project.

The goal and mission behind Wur'ship Project is to light a flame in the hearts of people, to help them live a life of worship...not just clock in on Sundays and sing a few songs, but to truly walk in the footsteps of Jesus, with a heart like His. Life is hard and circumstances get thrown at us everyday that makes us all want to quit...life is a daily, on-going project...a Wur'ship Project!
