Bio

Ken Losell has been performing for 40 years and played with an early version of Prairie Oyster. He also has worked with Tomcat, Captain Courageous, Sherrise Laurence and other Canadian groups. From Toronto he now lives in Horsehoe Valley, ON. He has 3 cd's of original work available with new material in progress. As well as gigging with the band he works in an acoustic format apperaing at Orillias Leacock Festval in 2007. All his cd's contain original folk/country material. Roly Platt, harp player for the band is considered one of Canada's premier harmonica players and has toured with Ronnie Hawkins and Matt Minglewood to name a few. Jon Warren, bassist, has played for 40 years as well and brings very strong vocals to the stage his list of performance collaborations is huge. Neil Numminen is well known on the Ontario music scene. A versatile bassist there seems to be no style he has not mastered, a tour de force on bass. Our 2006 CD "There's A Reason" was recorded and mixed by Neil at his Sutton, ON. studio. Antii Patjas is one of the drummers for the l!nks and works with many Canadian bands. Russ Strathdee is a.k.a. Dr Sax. I saw him for the first time as a sixteen year old fan and who would believe years later we would work together. That night he was playing with Canadian icons Shaun & Jay Jackson and The Majestics. Sax player extrordinaire he has played on 22 recordings since ’62 The Martels to name a few. His new album is called Reflections. From originals to funk and soul the band is energetic with a long history of experience.
