WYNTA GREEN is Tamara's favorite season and colour, after going through countless names none really decribed her and her music . . . . .
Hailing from the Gold Coast, Tamara, the singer songwriter behind Wynta Green now calls Brisbane home. After finishing a degree studying popular music at the QLD Conservatorium, (she studied subjects on recording, producing and songwriting as well as extensive study of the local music scene) Tamara is more than ready to take it on under the alias of her favourite colour and season.
WYNTA GREEN comes from a varied background in rock/pop/indie but over time has developed her guitar and songwriting skills to produce an earthier pop folk sound the name rightly represents. After kicking off last year Wynta Green has already performed extensively throughout South East Queensland including QPAC Theatre, The Suncorp Piazza, Swingin' Safari (Gold Coast), The Verve Cafe, Griffith Uni Bar the Paddington Tavern, and also at local festivals like the 2High Festival (Brisbane), Carma/EXPLODE (Sunshine Coast) and "Acoustic in the Park" series run by Southbank.
