A street savvy, soulful yet fearsome hip-hop/ rap group/ duo that empowers such raw lyrical prowess that has been seen in such mainstream artists, the likes of JayZ, Nas, AZ, Mobb Deep, Wu-Tang etc.., with superb writing and rapping styles to compliment each other.
Through their music, MIRSI (pronounced MERCY) paints detailed and vivid pictures from true-life experiences revolving around ghetto hardship, survival, political, social views from an urban community standpoint, and the relations between man and women on love and sex.
MIRSI, also known as S.I. & Bingo, consists of Shadner S.I. Ifrene, who hails from Brooklyn, NY and his partner Lafayette Bingo Long who traveled around most of his life (Nj,Ny,England), father was in the military, upholds NC. Working alongside such producers The Artz, Ill Phill, Tim Tha Toolman, and BLEVE, the group has created such hits as Missing You, Hustlas Soul, and their lead ready single Itz Nothin. The duo has also released its More Than A Mixtape Vol. 1 cd in the fall of 2005. In recent years, the group has performed in numerous venues throughout New York City, such as the very popular E.A.R.S Talent Showcase series, which take place annually in NY, premiering some of the future stars in music on the East Coast.
The strength of their music solely relies on real life experiences they have shared collectively and individually that audiences can relate too. The groups hunger and drive is prominent and distinctive after one listen of MIRSIs material, this group/ duo will prove to be one of the most highly talented and sought out rap groups in the game.
