Bio
Wynueco Washington was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 27, 1974 with music in his heart and soul. His mother a pianist and singer, and his father, a gospel music recording artist, are directly responsible for his music linage. Because of his mothers love for saxophonist Kenny G, she encouraged him to start playing the sax at age 13. By the time he graduated from high school, his proficiency on the instrument excelled, providing him an opportunity to obtain a full music scholarship to attend Central State University.
After college he enlisted to serve his country in the United States Army. In February of 2003 he was deployed to Kuwait City, Kuwait to fight in the Iraq war and was later moved north to Mosul, Iraq. During intense battle, while trying to rescue Iraqi Citizens, he sustained a severe wound which required him to be relocated state side. After receiving an Honorable Discharge from the US Armed forces, along with eight and a half years of distinguished service, he was finally able to pursue his appointed ministry full time.
