Xample

Xample is a group of dedicated, devoted and gifted Christians who genuinely believe that their lifestyle must be reflected in the songs they sings—and the songs they sing must testify of their love for God.

Xample is made up of six talented individuals: Nia Kelly, Jennifer Perry, Genesis Ellis, Shekinah Ellis and Gabrielle Ellis. They began singing together in 2003. They are all faithful members of Abundant Life Outreach Center in Clarksville, TN. Each member of Xample is actively involved in various ministries at Abundant Life such as, student ministry, music ministry, small group ministry and many more.

In 2005 Xample entered their first competition, the Gospel Music Association regional spotlight and songwriter’s competition and placed first in both categories. They went on to compete in the National competition in Estes Park Music in the Rockies and placed third for the spotlight category. This was just the beginning for Xample.

Xample heart’s desire is to be an example to the world of the loving power of Jesus Christ. They want their music to reflect their love for Him and their desire for each person to come to know Christ for themselves. For Xample music is not just a pastime it truly is a ministry.
