Bio
Sam, AKA XamVolo is taking Liverpool’s soul community by storm. His soulful dark, Jazzy, and intense vocal skills, combined with his equally impressive production abilities form his distinct sound.
Sam is already creating a buzz within Liverpool’s music scene, and has so far performed at, Liverpool Music Festival, The GIT awards and LIMF festival where he met Steve Levine, co-producer of ‘Binary In Blue’. He was the cover star of Liverpool’s own Bido Lito’s September edition- all in his short two years of being in the industry!
Sam’s second E.P ‘Binary in Blue’ submerses the listener into a pool of 21st century soul. The electronic beats will hit you sharpish giving an edge and setting the groove to each one of these tracks.
The live performance of ‘Binary In Blue’ takes influence from Sam’s band ‘The Equation’, who enjoy creative input into the live versions of each song. This means influences from heavy rock genres to funk influenced Saxophone lines are infused into each live performance. Therefore, both experiences are slightly varied, but equally first-rate.
Sam Folorushno performs under the pseudonym XamVolo. He describes his music himself as “a messy mind over raw, dark jazzy grooves.”
Every single member of the audience will leave his show having caught Sam’s contagious ‘coolness’.
