Born in Oak Park, IL and raised in Chicago, X graduated from Roosevelt University in 2012 with a major in psychology but chose the road that gave him more space & happiness. He's been featured in outlets like XXL, Complex, “Best New Artist” in Pigeons And Planes, The Chicago Reader, HipHopDX and countless others. With live band in tow, X has played sold out shows from SOB’s NYC, to House of Blues Chicago as well as college campuses on the west coast. With on & of record co-signs from many industry figures including Pete Rock, Twista, high school friend now NBA Champion Iman Shumpert, X’s arresting verses, melodic hooks and charismatic personality, the “Sultan of Sway” has captured fans around the world.
