Very present on social medias, he has now more than 4000 Facebook fans, more than 1200 followers on Twitter and his first videoclip for his song Amanda has been seen more than 100000 times on YouTube and Vimeo in only a few months. Since the launch of his first EP album, those numbers are growing at a fast rate.

« Music has always been a big part of my life. I always played music and I always listened to music but it’s really when I started writing my own songs that I felt, for the first time in my life, in my place, in my element. »

Xavier Constantin’s adventure starts in 2009 in his hometown Montreal, Canada. On June 10th, he releases his demo online and received an amazing response from the public.

« I was happily surprised of the enthusiasm surrounding the demo. It happened so fast. I then fully realised there was a place for my songs somewhere. »

The following year, Xavier Constantin plays in several Montreal venues with his three musicians. In 2011, he worked on the production, the recording and the launch of his first EP album while performing in many festivals in the province of Quebec. At 26 years old, Xavier Constantin launches Space Age along with his first video clip for his single Amanda on December 8th at Divan Orange in Montreal.

« It was an incredible night. Surrounded by my fans, friends and family, I celebrated the launch of an album which I am very proud of. I couldn’t wait to get on stage to share this moment with them. »

Xavier Constantin is actively seeking for a record deal. Currently planning a series of shows in Quebec, they plan to tour in the rest of Canada and North America.

Dance Around

Written By: Xavier Constantin

Dance Around
The energy that spreads
Limit your movements
When it’s you down there
That make the crowd go wild
Your arms and feet makes one

When it’s you today
That lost all you had

Dance Around
Dance Around
A simple way to go
You just have to follow
The rhythm that you hear
Will crawl down to your knees

When it’s you today
That lost all you had
You're guessing what's right
On the way things were back then
Now it’s broke

You can see the light
You can barely touch it
You just need a little push upwards
On a dark late night
With your fireworks
You just need to find a spark somewhere

Dance Around
A simple way to go
You just have to follow
When you're down there
You make the crowd go wild
Your arms and feet makes one

When it’s you today
That lost all you had
You're guessing what's right
On the way things were back then
Now it’s broke

You can see the light
You can barely touch it
You just need a little push upwards
On a dark late night
With your fireworks
You just need to find a spark somewhere

You can see the light
You can barely touch it
You just need a little push upwards
When you're on a dark late night
With your fireworks
You just need to find a spark

Amanda

Written By: Xavier Constantin

If you know Amanda
She’s the one who stole your heart
Can you now remember?
Leave what’s left in place for after

Can’t get any better
Kiss her lips, your mouth on fire
When she moves whenever
Tell yourself you don’t, you love her

If I
Tell lies
It’s ok and I won’t die

Your silence just won’t do
To save yourself
It’s not just me and you
It ends your way

If that’s what you do
And you rebel
Maybe for me and you
It ends this way

Now you know Amanda
She’s the one who stole your heart
Can you now remember?
Leave what’s left in place, it’s over

But now
It’s time
I let go and I won’t mind

Your silence just won’t do
To save yourself
It’s not just me and you
It ends your way

If that’s what you do
And you rebel
Maybe for me and you
It ends this way

Your silence just won’t do
To save yourself
It’s not just me and you
It ends this way

If You know By Now

Written By: Xavier Constantin

Is this everything you’ve got?
For all that you gave in
You fell down on the shore
You fell down on the shore

You said it wasn’t easy
There’s something wrong about us
I crawled back to your door
I crawled back to your door

Take my hand and we’re gone
Naturally, we’ll bond

Anyone can fall
Time oh, time will fade
If you know by now
If you know by now

Take my hand and we’re gone
Naturally, we’ll bond
As we are now alone
Feel at ease, hold on strong

I saw you, hey
You’re looking, oh
And if you want
I’ll sing your favorite song

Now, hey
You’re looking, oh
And if you want
I’ll be the one

I saw you, hey
You’re looking, oh
And if you want
I’ll sing your favorite song

Now, hey
You’re looking, oh
And if you want
I’ll be, I'll be the one

What If

Written By: Xavier Constantin

I step outside anywhere
And feel
Everyone’s just as scared
As me

What If one day, all life explodes everywhere?
Oh no, maybe yeah
But you know, it might, yeah

You hover your home in the air
And think
Don’t we all just look like ants
Indeed

What if today, the gods are mad and ate this plane?
Oh no, maybe yeah
But you know, it won't, no

This time you see the bridges falling
Down, you know
But you see it coming
This time you let the bridges falling
Down, you know

In this life
And it's cage
You’re lost

In this world
And it’s faith
You’re wrong

Space Age

Written By: Xavier Constantin

It starts in ‘57, with Sputnik launch
Americans and Soviets, the moon race starts
There’s television coming home
New inventions and industrial war

You know you want one aluminum car
Monorail, jets and spacecrafts are now born
The situation is coming home
The Moon, let’s get there asap before dawn

Space Age
You need time for your vision to go through
You want what you cannot do
If you were the same 20 years passed time
We’d be in 2085
2085

We’re back in ’57, around the clock
You know there’s something better, everyone
The situation is coming home
The Moon, let’s get there asap before dawn

Space Age
The Braves won but Yankees will come back
Little Rock Nine happened then, so fast
I missed it, I’m so mad
But I was born in 1985

Space Age
You need time for your vision to go through
You want what you cannot do
If you were the same 20 years passed time
We’d be in 2085

2085
1985
2085, oh

2085, oh oh
1985, yeah yeah
2085, oh oh
1985, yeah yeah

Mystery Place

Written By: Xavier Constantin

In this mystery place
You're floating down the road
While the moon seems to know it’s way back to you
To you

And you’ll find this mystery place
In your head
Since you can’t yet go there
In Space

You’ll still wonder all the places mystery can know
As you wake up from a daydream in a place you know

But you’ll find this mystery place
In your head
Since you can’t yet go there
Just yet
