Bio
Xerxes Cortez is a Toronto-based stand-up comic with a unique perspective that has left many audiences clamoring for more. He is a fantastic storyteller who skillfully rides the line between traditional observational comedy and more absurdist flights of fancy.
Since 2006, he has hosted and co-produced "The Texas Comedy Massacre 2", a popular monthly room that has been regarded by many comics to be one of the city's best.
He was also a co-host on "Dim Sum TV", a short-form TV series that ran for two seasons on Bite TV in 2007 that focused on Asian nerd culture.
