..........The X has been revealed and released. This is what Portland needed. Some truth, some love, and the spot light put on Christ. No phony, no actor, no hatred, no mis-representation, just a real positive lyrical focus on some true meaning. These lyrics aren't about street hustlin, nor pimpin, nor playin, nor shootin, just shining the light and bearin some fruit. The beats knock and the lyric are orignal and are definitely smooth. No matter what you believe or how you feel about life, If you like rap you'll love this debut. There are few cds where you can feel every song, but this is an exception. "The Anthem" is my favorite, but they're all good! Everyone that listens to this cd will not only learn something, but will also work on something. God Bless you X!!!!!! Don't stop, I get my strength through my music and you have been blessed with a gift. If you don't have this debut, cop it. If you have it and don't like it, check your software!!!!!!!!!

Xile brings creativity, thought-provoking lyrics, and a style to the table which hip hop has been severely missing. Xile strays far from beaten path of traditional, monotonous "rap" music and comes at you from a higher plane. The production of each track is original, where not one song sounds the same. Each song delivers a message worth hearing, opposed to the same crap on the radio day in and day out. "On Us Now" is apropo to represent an otherwise quiet Portlant hip hop scene, and Xile lets you know exactly where he's from, alluding to Trailblazers from the past and what you can expect entering the "City of the Rose." Following suit with "Trailblaza" my favorite track off the CD, this rugged track, combined with high powered, inspiring lyrics cannot be missed. Xile makes it well known he does not intend to follow suit behind other artists, rather, blaze a trail of his own to elevate music to a level it needs to be at. No matter if you're 5 or 55, there is something about this CD that caters to people of all ages. Parents can confidently put this in the CD player without having to worry about derogatory, negative or demeaning lyrics. Xile has a promising future in hip hop, with lyrical talent and strong production, he lives up to the title of the album, "the like of whom has never been..."

XILE is exactly what hip-hop needs. On The Like of Whom... X leads your soul through a deep tale of his life experiences as a true solider for the Lord. You never get the feeling you're being preached to, though because his unique lyrical style is metaphorical for the war between good and evil. XILE showcases the mic skills he's been honing since the early-90s, and X manages to leave his own mark on each cut. The production & beats are tight from beginning to end. By the time you let his words soak in a few times, you'll no longer be shackled in your ghost town prison like millions of people... Think about it! I bet you will after listening to one of the most original hip-hop joints you've heard in a long time. 503 is on the map!

Finally someone strong enough to combine the tight beats that you would expect from a great hip hop album with lyric's so thought provoking that it leaves you truely questioning your path through life and wanting to make the the decisions and changes needed to be "livin right" it is rare to be listening to a song that has you in such deep thought and at the same time has your head bobbin. all the tracks are tight but if you want a quick taste of those heavy lyrics all throughout the album, check out Reality, my personal favorite. as far as i am concerned our youth would be well served if they were all exposed to this incredible, thought provoking artist. this album has the power to change the mind set of our youth, and it will!! X keep it up, you are changing our thought process one lyric at a time! big ups holyfield, you truely are the real deal!!!

The CD is off the hook!!! Not only do you get beats that are hotter than anything on the radio, the message is clear and will pick you up "No Mattr Wut" your going through...Cant wait till the buzz gets out about this CD!!! Its bound to be a top seller!!! "On Us Now" is my favorite track on the CD, can't sit still to that one!!!!

The beats are sick and the lyrics are off the hook. This is the type of new stuff hip-hop needs. All the songs are NASTY! The Anthem is my favorite song on the album. You just want to bring the top down, nod your head, and cruise. 503 Frontliners are you wit me. Yeah Yeah. HOT!!!!

Semper Fi do or die. This CD is all about bein real. NIce change from all the "hatin" you usually see in Rap. Intense beats and lyrics that bring some serious Revelation. Xile you are makin it!!!

I played the CD for some non believers and hard core music buffs and they loved the CD. They did not believe that it was Christian and when they listened to the words they heard that it was Christian music and they loved it. It has the same awesome beat as the popular secular music but with words that are up lifting and fun. The lyrics pick you up, not down. If you like to move to the beat, this is the CD for you!


Xile is without a doubt the best Artist I have heard in a long time!
