This band from the Jersey Shore is about to set things on fire! The powerful,
charismatic voices of the Kostecki Brothers, combined with their magnetism and star
power are impossible to ignore. And the fans haven’t been ignoring them….
Driven by their love of music and a passion for finding their outlet for self-expression,
Joe and Chris are the real deal. Their remarkable sense of lyricism and melody shines
brightly. They create music that people love to sing…either in the car, on the radio or
when they capture the spirit and unpredictable energy of one of their live shows.
Just as members have come and gone the sound of XIT88 has continued to change and
evolve. Joe says, “If you’re not moving forward, what’s the point?” So, when the current
line-up was solidified, everything finally clicked and XIT88 is more powerful than ever.
Adding Jeff Spagnola on Drums, Mike Turtora on Bass and Anthony Manno on Lead
Guitar, is all it took.
Performing steadily over the past year, 70+shows, taking their music directly to the fans.
“First and foremost, we are a live band, we love performing and we just have to
entertain”, Chris states. Coffeehouse acoustic sets with 75 fans, the Stone Pony with
500+, or the Tweeter Center in Chicago with 10,000 fans, their energy and
professionalism seems effortless. They are truly seasoned veterans under the age of 23….
XIT88’s musical influences encompasses several artists and different genres, but one
thing they share and respect with those artists is how much emotion, sincerity and truth
they but into their music. The band’s music ideally suited for a wide scope of romantic
and dramatic situations always sends a positive message. Anthony claims, “When we
began to write songs as a band, it was almost reflexive, something that just happens, we
didn’t really have a choice.” Mike comments, “It’s like we’ve always been together,” and
Jeff adds, “XIT88 was born, not made, and we were born to ROCK!” And the fans
agree…..I guess that says it all.
