Bio
Josh Boyd has been writing the catchiest pop songs in the world - under the radar - for the past 10 years, most recently gaining local notoriety under the moniker, Josh Boyd & the Bedroom Band. Upon parting ways with their guitar section, Boyd, Shin Lee and Morgan Ponder have embraced a more guttural, synth heavy, punk rock sound akin to The Screamers all the whilst still holding on to varied pop influences such as Bomb the Music Industry, Reggie & the Full Effect, The Faint and Nirvana.
The band has shared the stage with such acts as Cotillon, The Abigails, Races, Raw Geronimo, Criminal Hygeine, Black Apples, The Burning of Rome, Gothic Tropic, Batwings Catwings, Truman Peyote, Low Leaf, Caught a Ghost, Habits and Voice on Tape.
Music made with toys for brains and electronics for instruments, anchored to the ground by soul searching lyrics of attempted cosmic truth and shit.
Sounds like: a synth heavy punk rock Beatles.
