Feeling a bit camera shy

Integral in the Northwest hip hop scene, Xola Malik has been making hits since he was a teenager starting with Grammy Award winning artist, Sir Mix-a-Lot. As Kid Sensation, he went on to release 4 solo CDs selling over 1,000,000 units. Critically acclaimed sports anthems endorsed by the NFL, Ichiro, Shaun Alexander, Ken Griffey, Jr., and Fox Sports Network round out his music portfolio. Xola has hosted MTV’s “Yo! MTV Raps” and BET’s “Rap City” and has a Gold single, PSA Emmy nomination, NAMA, Golden Reel Awards and over 10 MTV and BET videos under his belt. He is at home in front of an audience and behind a microphone and has shared the stage with major acts like LL Cool J, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre and Will Smith, in front of crowds up to 20,000. Xola is busy working on his next album slated for release in Summer 2008, producing several artists in his studio, film work and giving back to the community.
