X-Sister Z

X-Sister Z

BandMetalGothic

heavy, industrial guitar driven electronic music with dynamic vocals. sometimes dancers... sometimes fire... sometimes yoyos? heavy disco? dance deathmetal? sometimes even we're not sure. A spectacle worth enjoying.

Biography

Formed in the early 21st century, X-Sister Z has been regularly recording and playing their odd brand of industrial music to the surprise, enjoyment, and often confusion of many. The entire inspiration for the band stemmed from the emotions -the fear, the hatred, and the rejection- which we feel when we are being shut out by mainstream society. Syn knew exactly how it felt to be one of the black sheep, if not THE black sheep, and kept all of this in mind while writing the music for this project. The result is dark underlying themes enveloped in a musical atmosphere that teeters between depravity and carnivalesque fun.
In 2005, X-Sister Z was voted "best band in Jax" by readers of jacksonville floridas premiere arts and culture magazine, FolioWeekly. then, later that year XSZ won a slot on Clearchannel's Planetfest 06 which would also included bands the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Cold, and Sevendust. the band is preparing to release their first full length release and as always is playing shows wherever they can.
