The music of XUMAPAZ, the Colombian band headed by American ex-pat Sally Station, mixes the soul and jazz of Station’s native Chicago with Colombian rhythms and other Latin styles. It’s “soul latino con alma colombiana” -- warm and sophisticated, sung in English, Spanish and French.
