Winner of Network TEN’s ‘X-Factor’ (as part of Random), finalist on Network 7’s ‘Popstars LIVE’, award winner (Best R&B Act - 2006 Urban Music Awards), major label recording artist, producer, songwriter, promoter and dancer… is there anything this guy can’t do!

As part of Random, Xy has been able to reach a very broad audience through ‘X-Factor’ and subsequently on television shows such as ‘Good Morning Australia’, ‘The Shak’, ‘Hot Source’ and radio appearances on B105 (Brisbane), 4ZZZ (Brisbane) and The Edge (Sydney). Xy has also had the opportunity to open for some of R&B’s biggest names – Boyz II Men, K-Ci & JoJo, 112, Az Yet and Dancehall superstar – Sean Paul.

With his long list of accomplishments it is fairly obvious that Xy Latu has well and truly established himself as a multi-faceted entertainer on the Australian music scene, but he is certainly not planning to rest on his laurels – all his accomplishments so far are merely a launch pad for much more to come... Xy continues to work hard writing, recording and producing new material not only for himself but for other artists – including former Australian Idol finalist Ricki Lee Coulter.

Xy’s next goal is his solo debut, which he is in the middle of working on at the Brisbane studios of Blackstar Media.
