Music has a new face and new name Donald Patterson aka X-yle. The young hip hop artist has pushed his way into the spot light with a brand of music people have been missing and a style of his own. The Queens native has burnt the candle at both ends to get where he’s at and beyond. With an impeccable work ethic and countless amounts of shows under his belt, X-yle is on the road to hip hop supremacy. His music is a concoction of hypnotic hooks and heartfelt lyrics with an aggressive in your face delivery.

Growing up listening to DMX, Busta Rhymes and Nas, X-yle has developed an understanding of what a hip hop artist should be. His energy and persona proves that he is more than just a flash the pan. Starting off at the age of 11 X-yle played with the notion of doing music. It was at the age of 13 when he decided to pursue a rap career and never looked back. With no knowledge of the structure of a proper song X-yle just put his emotions on a page and his soul to a beat. With no followers X-yle quickly decided to stand on his own (hence the name).

X-yle has worked hard over the years to perfect is craft and establish himself as a profound lyricist and an all around songwriter. The Queens emcee has written songs for several Hip hop and R&B artist, as well as writing his own material to further his career. People often ask X-yle where he gets his inspiration from and what motivates him to keep going at such a rapid pace. He simply replies, “I’m tired of being nobody and I won’t stop until I put my name in history”.

All grown up now Xyle has made a name for himself in New York, New Jersey, Baltimore and St. Louis.
X-yle has a rare focus that is not often seen in an artist but is apparent in the body of his work that he has put together. X-yle is looking to achieve longevity and carve his name in music history. And if he stays on his path X-yle will get there. X-yle has recently joined forces with Andre “Dre” Lucy & Euclid “June” Levine of L & L Music Group/Management to guide his career on this bumpy road of success.
