XYZ is a Seattle-based collegiate band comprised of three members. These members met their freshman year at the University of Washington and have been growing their brand as a band ever since. Their first few singles were written and produced in the basement of their fraternity house and not much has changed since. By day they are students, but by night they are musicians and songwriters basking in the homemade rockstar experience. So far, they have garnered a great local community and are looking to expand their fan-base to the surrounding states, especially California. California hasn’t been touched by the band through touring or any other source. Therefore, that will be an important goal. This past year, they achieved some national success through some promotion from MTVu which they hope to capitalize on.

XYZ’s first full album “Evergreen” is set to release on September 16th. With sounds similar to The Bravery and Hot Hot Heat, XYZ is attracting the young alternative rock crowd. Although driven by lead guitar, strong bass and percussion frame the soon-to –be classic vocals. With each member being multi-instrumental, the chemistry is constantly shifting as they all take turns behind the mic and behind each instrument. Their excitement for music rubs off on their fans through their toe-tapping melodies and crowd-involving lyrics.
