Born in 1987, aspiring artist “Hollywood YSA” also known as Jonathan Lashawna Seward or “Booger” by his basketball colleagues has been slowly paving his way throughout the underground Hip-Hop scene. Born in 87', young Hollywood first caught glimpse of youthful emcees Chris Smith “Mac Daddy” and Chris Kelly “Daddy Mac” also known as “Kris Kross” (Mac Daddy/Daddy Mac..I get it!). Kris Kross was a young Hip-Hop duo, ages 12 and 13 that were discovered in Atlanta, Georgia. Their hit single “Jump” which released in 1992 was all the rage which in turn sparked Hollywood’s love for Hip-Hop. His curious mind lead him to other Hip-Hop artists such as “The Lox”, “Snoop Dogg”, “Rakim”, and many other timeless artists.

Raised in Brooklyn, N.Y. (Kings County Hospital), rapper/emcee Hollywood YSA started off as a ambitious baller picking up the “roc” at age 7. With high hopes of reaching the NBA, he swept competition all over the country as he grew older. Thoughts of creating his own music didn’t flourish his mind until he reached his freshman year at Arizona Western College in Yuma, Arizona (Where? lol). Sadly, Hollywood’s dreams of making it to the NBA failed to become reality but in turn gave birth to a new dream. After taking his lyrical talent a tad bit more seriously, he blossomed creating tapes such as "Hustle thru the Depression", "The Doom Tape", and others.
