Get it How You Live!
Kenny Faure aka Ya Boy Kool is so in his element, writing songs and singing to his own lyrics. This singer/songwriter may be new on the scene but his sound is reminiscent of old school R&B with the hip hop flavor. These days you can find Kool spending most of his time at the music studio.
"I’m just spreading the love. Music affects people in different ways and I try to cover all bases." And he certainly does from the move your body sound of Get Some to the mid tempo confection Raincheck, Kool’s music is sure to please.
 
Kool is writing songs everyday and spends about 5 hours in a recording session perfecting the sound. Kool recently signed with Disappearing Ink/Gailington Publishing as a writer and has already had 2 out of 3 song submissions selected for artist placement. I asked what he liked most about writing songs and he said "It’s the hook. I think the hook is the best thing about the song. It’s the part that catches the ear. The part that you can’t get out of your head. You find yourself singing it over and over, like my song She Give Me Love." He sings the hook for me, "She gimme love, love, love, love." He’s right, the song has a nice hook and I’m looking forward to hearing the entire cut.

He is also working with Global Entertainment on a single slated for release this summer. Things are moving quickly for Kool and he’s ready for the ride. "I was born to do this and this is what makes me happy."
When Kool is not writing or performing he spends time with his family. "Family is very important to me. I’m an only child and my parents mean the world to me. They support me and keep me motivated while I pursue my dream and passion of entertaining. The music business is a challenge to break into but they believe in me and that’s a good feeling."
 
It was only a little over a year ago when Kool set out to set the music world on fire. This singer/songwriter has what it takes to make it. His mantra: "Get It How You Live! no excuses, just get it done." He is a serious artist with plenty of talent, creativity, and passion. We will definitely hear more from Ya Boy Kool.
