Biography

Singer,pianist,composer and songwriter,Yael was born in Paris and raised in Israel. she started playing the piano at the age of nine. When she turned ten, Yael already composed her music feeling that she wanted to not only play,but to create and give birth to the words.

without noticing she began using her voice and became aware of her special gift when she won first place in a competition pefrorming her own lyrics and compositions. During highschool she studied music and literature. she learned to work and arrange with every instrument. she soon formed her first group and performed regularly with her own original music.

During her two years service in the Israeli Army she toured with her band all over the country and was invited to sing in Jazz festivals and major events in New York and Miami.

It was when she was invited to sing in Paris that she was discovered by producers that sign her to EMI Music for an international deal. During the recording of her first album "In a Man's Womb" she became one of the leading cast members of the musical " The X Commandements" performing infront of 5000 people every night over the past two years. The success of musical sold over 1.5 million albums.

Just recentry, Yael composed for other artists and performed on the movie sound track of "Harrison's Flower" a film by Elie Chouraqui, starring Adrien Brody and Andie MackDowell.
Currently she is writing and composing her second album colored with magical childish innocence, melted with reckless lunacy.
