Bio
Funk Pterodactyl is a band with a soon to be released full length album. Alejandro Chapa is the founder/bass player/composer but has recorded many international musicians for the album and has formed ensembles to play sets in Monterey, Mexico and in New York. The current lineup is Wesley Maples on Sax, Lautaro Burgos on drums, Yahzeed (MC), Sara Stranovsky on vocals, Eitan Akman on guitar, and Alejandro Chapa on bass.
Yahzeed has been in the scene recording out of TME studios at the Bronx for a while. His last EP called ¨Of Monolithic Proportions¨ is produced by Preservation, who is also Yassiin Bey´s (Mos Def) DJ. link below:

Recently Yahzeed and Funk Pterodactyl joined forces. At the moment we are booking shows in New York and can play anything from full Yahzeed repertoire to full Funk Pterodactyl repertoire and everything in between.
