1995 Yana dares an exceptional project Techno-Yoik. With Accagas she released two singles that entered europes charts and where shown on MTV europe. The video was filmed in Jukkasjärvi. In 2002 Yana founded Sami Music Entertainment, her company with that she arranged and accomplished plenty fantastic events worldwide. In 25 countries she could represent Sweden and the Sami culture.
Ihre Cds are autobiographic. Her songs come straight from her heart.With the band Giron she released the Cds "Giron"(1999) und "Ealàt"(1995); and with the band Enyoik she published the Cds "Yana" (2002) und "Free"(2004).
Companies like Saab, Volvo, Icehotel trust Yana, when it comes to showing their costumers something special both in Sweden or abroad.
She is often seen as a kind of cultural ambassador for the Sami people. Yana is professional in using her shaman drum with the inspiring rythms and her seductive Joik. But also in her band set up she understands how to fascinate her audience often using pyrotechnical elements and odd decoration as reindder skins, Ice-Objects etc.

Within her more then 20 years ongoing music career she has performed at various arrangements on festivals, in embassies, gouvernments and more then 11 times she played for the royal swedish family.
Audiences from more then 25 diffrent countries have enjoyed her great performances. Yana hails from a Sami-family. Her mother was born in a traditional Sami- Kåta (tent) and has raised reindeer herself. Yana discovered her passion for singing when she was 8 years old at the Music secondary school in Kalix / lappland. Later yana joined the show- and musicschool in Mölmycke, Göteborg, where she has accomplished an education as rythm therapist. She has a great passion for the wildlife in her homeregion Lappland. She is far away from beeing gingerly. She loves going hunting, fishing and/ or simply absorb the purity and calmness of the wilderness in the far north.
