On retiendra 2 points cruciaux de la prestation de Yasmin Shah : elle a eu froid pendant tout le concert, et qu’elle est une artiste absolument divine. Je ne sais pas si je suis le seul à penser que l’aura de Kate Bush planait sur sa prestation, mais il faut l’avouer : Yasmin possède une voix aussi puissante que cristalline, aussi sauvage que berçante. Ses parties de piano, très Chopin-isées, sont en parfaite harmonie avec ses chansons. Chaque titre interprété est une pure démonstration émotionnelle, qui avouons-le, sidère. Tantôt dans un groove ensorcelant, tantôt dans un petit coin intime et fragile que la chanteuse ouvre au public - encore peu nombreux, il est 19h30 … - son set passe à la vitesse de la lumière. Bio
Born from a melting pot culture in the US (Father from Bombay India, and mom from Porto Rico), Yasmin grew up , studied piano in the San Francisco environment. Later on interested by wine , she moved to France to study the makings of this fascinating nectar. Meanwhile to earn a living she started working in bars as a pianist -singer and started inventing songs on the spot. Encouraged by others to pursue a career in the music industry she has written for well known artists in France and started developping her own career.
Yasmin looooves to play and all of her songs are inspired by her personal " quirky" ,female experiances .
Life is crazy with it's up's and downs, but somehow you end up loving it ;-)
