"This is a solid EP from the singer/songwriter camp, boosted with clever lyrics and some impressive hooks. Although still a little rough around the edges - and perhaps in need of some more complex song structures - "Relax, I Have A Plan" proves Temiseva a mature and promising songwriter." - indieville.com
"While his name might conjure up images of boredom and exhaustion, Yawn Temiseva and his music are anything but." - Riverdale-East York Town Crier
"Although the line-up of the band differs from song to song, Lung Slug manage to maintain a consistency in their sound, most likely through the efforts of lead vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Yawn Temiseva. If you're not already at least a little familiar with this band then I would urge you to find out." - Exclaim!

Bio
Toronto musician Yawn Temiseva has released his second independent solo CD, "Relax, I Have a Plan".
"Relax, I Have a Plan" is Yawn's four-song follow-up to his previous album "Everything Solves Itself", released in 2005. His lyrics continue to play with words in dark yet delightful ways, such as "crawling my way to the middle of the day" and "gimme just a second, 'cause I'm second-guessing."
While the second track is called "Thinking Song," all of Yawn's songs are thinking songs.
The third track, "Big Box Daddy", is Yawn's scathing impersonation of a big-box store executive sweet-talking the opposition at a community meeting. A live clip of Yawn performing the song has been included and distributed on the "No Big Box in Leslieville" Facebook group.
Relax, I Have a Plan was produced by renowned multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Vaughn Passmore.
In addition to Passmore, Yawn’s warmly melodic acoustic and electric guitar-playing and singing are backed by vocalist Bo Green and drummer Markus Temiseva, both notable artists in their own right.
Yawn has been performing at clubs such as the Press Club, Renaissance Cafe, Clinton's, Tranzac, Graffiti's, and Not My Dog.
Born in Finland and raised in Toronto, Yawn is both a musician and a visual artist. A self-proclaimed pessimist, he observes his world with understated humour. A lover of words and a two-time spelling-bee champion, Yawn’s imagination is often sparked by overheard words and phrases.
His lyrics have reached Finland, where they were used in two songs on a CD by the English-singing Finnish band Honey B. and the T-Bones. Yawn has written, performed and recorded his own music as the lead singer and songwriter of Lung Slug and, more recently, as a member of bands such as Heavy Sweaters and International Turpentine.
