Bio

Yearbook are an aggressive alternative rock band quickly becoming known for their intense and passionate live show. In the last 12 months Yearbook have gone from strength to strength, racking up well over 6000 downloads of their debut EP ‘All Squares And Circles’ and supporting the likes of Lower Than Atlantis, Canterbury, Futures, The BOTS, The Xcerts, The Audition, Don Broco and Tellison.
Championed by Daniel P Carter and Ally McRae at BBC Radio 1, Alex Baker at Kerrang! Radio/Magazine, Amazing Radio, Already Heard and Rocksound as well as performing at Guilfest, Redfest, Burnout, and Y Not festivals in 2012, Yearbook are proving why they are one of the best underground bands on the scene.
Completing a UK tour with The Xcerts in December and releasing their first single proper ‘Art Student’ has seen them end 2012 with a bang. 2013 will bring big things.

Praise
“Absolutely storming! Big fan of that track, just so catchy!”
- Ally McRae BBC Radio 1
“Incredible. That chorus, I love it!” - Amazing Radio
“I think they are absolutely sick. Check out his voice, it’s amazing. The music’s amazing. Everything about them is amazing! I can’t think of a band that sounds anything like them. Incredible music. The vocalist, his voice has got to be one of my favorite male vocals ever in the history of anything!” - Alex Baker, Kerrang Radio
"They're the kind of band that'll make you glue your earphones to your ears and delete everything else off your iPod." - Kerrang! Magazine
"For fans of massive tune-age." - Rocksound Magazine
“Particularly stunning. They are mind blowing live. Complex, twiddling guitar melodies scratch against a rough and ready hardcore sound and punk style Gallows-esque riffs punctuate the songs. There is a stunning dichotomy between the softer and harder moments that sounds brilliant live, especially during songs like ‘Everything I Own.’”
- Already Heard
“The totally original sound, constructs, tunesmanship and general freshness genuinely set these lads apart. Mesmerising throughout, thought-provoking and musically masterful; they marry massive choruses with plaintive fragility switching effortlessly into goose-bump inducing heavy-boned emotional rawness. Their set takes you on a journey drenched in pathos, humour, raw power, anger and just general weirdness. Brilliant and mesmerising. Can’t wait to see them again. As a headline act.”
