Yellow Sisters is a female vocal group - a cappella, that floats with lightness and elegance across music styles of funky, r`n`b, word music, jazz and reggae. Yellow Sisters are sound illusionists. In their author songs they experiment on voices and search the original way to express melody and rhythm.

The group performs at concert halls, theatres, clubs, and also takes part at various music festivals, whether it is of music ( Colours of Ostrava, Music in the Park, Reggae Meeting, Sazava Fest, Eurotrialog), of theatre (Letni Letna, Memorial Kolin, Mezi Ploty, Tyden pro Broumovsko) and of film (MFF Karlovy Vary, Moffon, Jeden Svet, Finale Plzen, Anifets), then at sociable events and ceremonies, openings, exhibitions, municipal celebrations and so on.
Among the most considerable events that Yellow Sisters have performed belongs for example a Homo Homini Award for remarkable contribution to human rights sphere on the occasion of opening the film festival Jeden Svet 2006, live TV broadcast at TyTy 2006 Award, TV broadcast at Czech Ministry of Culture Award in October 2007, an appearance in BBC travel documentary Michael Palin’s New Europe, a live performance in CT TV programme Noc s Andelem in December 2007, an opening performance of world famous Blind Boys of Alabama at a Lucerna big hall , a performance on the occasion of Bob Mc Ferrin concert in Prague Kongresove Centrum, an appearance in remix compilation of soundtrack of Japanese film Nautica, an appearance at the Czech Ball in Brussels on the occasion of inauguration of the Czech EU Presidency 2009, and an hour programme on London radio BBC.

Yellow Sisters have been performing since 2005 and in the same year they recorded their first demo CD. In the year of 2006 YS were chosen into the final contest Colours Talents hold by Indies Records and Colours of Ostrava festival, where they became the winner and achieved the opportunity to record and release their debut album. A new album Singalana was released in December 2006 and in spring 2007 Yellow Sisters toured with Singalana throughout the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Poland, Hungary and Sweden. The Singalana album was first introduced in March 2007 at the Prague club Retro Music Hall with more than 20 guests including musicians and dancers. The concert was being recorded and its DVD shots were released at YS’s own expenses.

In 2008 Yellow Sisters devoted their time especially to a project Shreds of Life, a dance and a theatre performance of Aya Rezaninova choreography with Yellow Sisters live music, its opening night took place in Ponec Theatre. In the same year in summer, for a week they performed in a Berlin BKA-Theatre, they also performed for the Czech Embassy in Vienna on the occasion of 50th Anniversary of the Czechoslovakian occupation in 1968 and in November they successfully toured throughout Spain.
In January 2009 Yellow Sisters were addressed to open the prestige Czech Ball in Brussels on the occasion of the Czech EU presidency. They performed there in the collaboration with the choreographer Monika Rebcova and with eight dancers of Prague HAMU( dance and music academy) in costumes of a fashion designer Libena Rochova.

In the year of 2010 Yellow Sister released their second album with the name of Tubab Woman with many guests on and they have been preparing themselves for an international tour.
