YellowTieGuy Aka Daniel W. Hill started singing (and sucking his thumb) at infancy, began playing piano at 6 (the music lessons stuck, but the practice didn't), bass guitar it age 14, guitar at 15, and the rest is HisStory!

He's performed with musicians like Johnny Poulos (Morningside, Setback, Hybred), Steve Bowen (aka Saxy Steve) & Brandon Hardesty (of Bumpin Uglies fame), Cathy McLeod, Ace Elijah, Andy Licurgo (formerly of Fall Away and other great bands), The Unsweet Tea, Rudy Hooks, Exit 40, Entertainment System, and Thorn, amongst many others!

With many of these talented musicians he's written or co-produced more than thirty songs, personally written more than forty songs, and continues to celebrate more than fifty cover songs of others that has inspired, and continues to inspire him.

He recently performed with scores of other musicians outside of Anime North in Toronto, ON, and in many cases, continues to perform in the greater Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area in locations like Obrien's, Stan & Joe's, and The Whiskey (Annapolis, MD), Hot Licks Guitar Shop (Waldorf, MD), The Black Hole Rock Club (Dundalk, MD) Genesis Elder Care and College of Southern Maryland(La Plata, MD), Brass Monkey (Baltimore, MD), Chesapeake Church, Broadneck Youth Center, Anchor Baptist Church, and East Coast Earthquake.

Yellowtieguy is currently working on his first studio release "Joy in the Mourning" set to release August 14, 2010, which is set to feature some current songs like "Play It Like it Is" "War (Should I Be So Surprised)," and "When It Comes". There will also be some amazing songs that haven't been released previously, and songs currently in the works that will blow your mind!
