Introducing for your listening, looking and mind-melting pleasure, the new-psychedelic music machinists that are Ye Luddites.
Ye Luddites is the creative offspring of singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Gordon Watt, who has trodden the boards for over a decade with bands including oddball abstractionists The Dodgy World, The Sneaky Butchers and The Nice Folk.
Enlisting the diverse talents of bassist Malcolm Wales (Traces of Nut, Sweet Sweet Bulbs), organist and backing vocalist Edie Nyers (The Remaining Two) and drummer Trina Collins (The Watt Riot, Ludo, Poncho Army), Ye Luddites have been winning the hearts and minds of music lovers since their formation in late 2008.
Ye Luddites promise to use their technology for good, not evil; aiming to bring a smile to the dial and a cockle-warming to the heart of every man, woman and child. Taking the then, adding some zen, and making it new all over again with their rarefied blend of 60s-influenced garage, psych and shoe-gaze.
