the band formed out of love. we met as friends 6 years ago in burlington vermont and have been playing music together since. we sing our stories the best we can.

Yes And No Stories use vocal harmony along with an array of musical techniques to attain a delicate, complex, and surprising, fusion of sound. The songs are highly composed and blend lyrical poetry with rock, jazz, folk, and experimental instrumentation.

Yes And No Stories are supported by a strong fan base, widespread print and media promotion and an army of like minded individuals.

Each show is an opportunity to enrich the listener’s concept of music through a unique, sometimes challenging, and often enlightening performance.
