Bio
"Yessica Woahneil is a soft electric/indie folk artist from London, Ontario. She's been experimenting with her sound for the last decade, heavily influenced by the raw and honest sounds of Bjork, Cat Power, Regina Spektor, Bob Dylan, Laura Marling, Fiona Apple, and Coeur de Pirate.
Her debut album Cheekbone dives past the exterior and digs into the soul. If you're ready, she can make you shed tears you didn't know you had; all she asks is that you be present. Recorded and mixed in London at The Sugar Shack by Simon Larochette (Single Mothers, Olenka & the Autumn Lovers) she has performed at various venues in Southern Ontario and is ready to bloom into the scene."
