Still working on that hot first release.

Yevtushenko is Amber Shine, Jeff Bazz, and Jeremiah Johnson. Shine and Johnson met in 2007 outside of Nashville and started collaborating soon after. Both decided to relocate to Seattle in pursuit of different musical avenues.

Jeff bazz arrived in Seattle in 2011 via Burlington Vermont after graduating with a degree in composition from Bishops University in Quebec, Canada. The three would later meet in early 2012 at The Rogue & Peasant, a short lived music venue and recording studio in Seattle, Washington where Shine and Bazz ran live sound while Johnson worked the bar. After an investor pull-out the R&P closed its doors leaving all three unemployed and free to pursue the musical collaboration that would later evolve into Yevtushenko.

Yevtushenko’s core is rooted in the blues with heavy influence from Metric, David Bowie, Beck, Jack White, The Sonics, Ted Leo, Robert Johnson, Iggy Pop, and Jimmy Page. Their experimental use of electronics in the form of cigar box synth, sampling, and found gadgetry blend well with Amber Shine’s powerful vocals, saturated tonal palette and near perfect diction.
