travelling

Legend Classics has released the debut album “travelling” by guitarist Yiannis Andronoglou.

In this recording you will enjoy Andronoglou playing nine of his own compositions for the guitar, some of which are inspired by Greek folk melodies (zonaradikos, mantilatos, baitouska).

According to the artist “traveling is the way I interpret Greek traditional music themes and melodies with the classic guitar. It is also an expression of several personal moments. The listener is supposed to “travel” in the company of a gentle Greek breeze”.

Yiannis Andronoglou has attracted rave reviews for his performance, some of which state:
“...guitar mystagogy… a demonstration of technique and musical fervour, his performance takes you to another, more intense reality”
“...he stood out from the crowd thanks to his contact with the audience, his deep, unaffected musicality and grandiose sound but mostly, thanks to the impressive and rare seriousness with which he treats every music theme”.
