English Translation: ... DONG Yi's performance was fantastic. All the audience had been holding their breath and listening carefully since the start of the music and thoroughly immerse themselves into the atmosphere the music created, whether they're familiar with the zheng or not. DONG Yi also put in a great deal of effort to communicate with them. She personally introduced each and every programme in the concert "My Journey throughout China", which was the first among several hers I attended, with insights into Chinese music history and regional cultures. The audience showed great interests and gratitude. The whole connection peaked when everybody gasped in amazement while she turned over the instrument to show it to the curious people at the auditorium...
