""Tell Me", Young Indian Outlaw"

This is a fairly young band, and the majority of their material lies within a White Stripes/Jet/Hives vein. This particular track, however, comes off more like a slower, more alt-country version of early Kings of Leon. Frankly, I think this is their most interesting track, and although I like all of the material I've heard by Young Indian Outlaw, I'd love to see the band further mine this particular musical vein.

Bio

Rising rock and roll act YOUNG INDIAN OUTLAW is a three piece DFW-based band. From The Who inspired "Wild As Hell," through the fan favorite country-tinged ballad "Tell Me," which Dallas blog 'Ghost of Blind Lemon' described as "a more alt-country version of early Kings of Leon", to the sing-along and boot-stomping "Rise and Fall," and slightly Beatles-like "Nothing Comes Easy,"THE OUTLAWS have developed a sound that's retro enough for old souls but sexy, raw and modernized enough for the kids in the vein of Wolfmother, White Stripes, and JET. THE OUTLAWS live shows are an experience reminiscent of The Who in their early days with the dirty guitar, pulsing bass and huge drums. Having played all around Texas and including a stint at SXSW, THE OUTLAWS have shared the stage with Atlantic Records artist Louis XIV as well other popular acts. With the "Wild Hearts" EP their young belts, THE OUTLAWS are always looking to expand their name to broader audiences and are doing everything in their power to make sure it happens.
