İn 2007, “Yirmi7”(Twenty7) was established by
Okan Sarli as first Turkish Rock Band based in Los Angeles that performed over
100 concerts, festivals and Universities in the United States starting in Los
Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, Seattle, Philedelphia,
Orlando, Miami and Dallas.The band chose its name to commemorate the legendary
musicians that died at the age of 27.
İn 2015, Yirmi7’s (Twenty7) “Muhtemel Ask” song
made a big success and become number one hit on digital platforms, music
channels list for 9 weeks in Turkey and also it was the number 1 best selling
song on I-Tunes for 3 weeks.
Yirmi7’s (Twenty7) sound described as blending
modern rock with traditional Turkish music influences and reach out 65 million views on Youtube.
