Yodi Mac

Yodi Mac, is an up-and-coming hip-hop artist operating out of Tacoma, Wa. Originally from Post Falls, Id., Malcolm (Yodi Mac) attended the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma where he began publicly displaying his music in 2011. Growing and evolving his music style over the last 4 years, Yodi Mac has embraced many elements of the northwest lifestyle, and has incorporated the sounds and scenery of the area into his recent releases. He originally debuted his music under the Artist name of Dwayne Colbert releasing his Opening Act EP in the Fall of 2013. After further reconstructing his delivery and style, he has reemerged in 2015 as Yodi Mac after dropping his "Sky Skatin, Highs Hatin" music video in December of 2014. The video shows Yodi Mac's love for the northwest scenery, bringing a super natural appeal as he runs up a snowy Mt. Rainier over the course of the story. In January of 2015, under his new persona, Yodi Mac dropped his first official project: Yodi-Mactic. Through the mixtape you see Yodi experimenting with different styles as he searches for his niche, delivering commentary on his life growing up in Idaho, his transition to life in Tacoma, and his love for good vibes and good highs, inviting his listeners to follow his new found journey of the world (and the world of hip-hop). He continues to deliver to his fans with better music as he continues to find himself, both as an artist and as a person.
