Yoga Terror

Yoga Terror is a multinational rock band formed in the heart of Poland on the initiative of Michal Truong (ex Rootwater) – guitarist of Vietnamese origin – and drummer “Kuczy” (ex Dianoya). The two boys decided to drop everything to start creating music which would be a carrier of the energy they were bursting with, and which would release a similar energy in other people. Currently, the band is co-created by: Zu Pytlinska, a talented singer, esteemed songwriter and charismatic frontwoman (also known as the lead vocalist of the rock group Sen Zu), Krzysiek Truong, his original riffs and melodic vocal, and last but not least bass demon Grzesiek Kowalski. Through their music and message YOGA TERROR promotes a positive attitude to life, openness to cultural diversity and tolerance for difference.
In 2010 the band released their debut EP “Palace of Cultures” and the single “Palace of Cultures” remained several weeks in the lead of the Antyradio “Turbo Top”–hitlist (one of Poland’s most famous rock radio stations). The band played countless concerts and shared the stage with such great polish artists like Zbigniew Holdys, Proletaryat, Hunter, Dzem, Lombard, Star Guard Muffin and Enej. Both their “acoustic” and “electric” gigs constantly gain recognition from the media and attract the attention of the local music industry. At present, the band works intensively on new compositions and promotes its new single “Lion’s Share” by means of their self-created unique gadget called FanDrive Yoga Terror.

Major achievements:
- first place in the music competition “Have No Mercy”
- first place in the 4th Warsaw Rock Band Contest (IV Warszawski Przeglad Zespolów Rockowych)
- first place at the festival “Young Talented 2010” (“Mlodzi Zdolni 2010”)
- the “Journalists’ Prize” at the “Seven Festival 2011”

Yoga Terror to miedzynarodowy rockowy band powstaly w sercu Polski z inicjatywy gitarzysty wietnamskiego pochodzenia Michala Truong (ex Rootwater) oraz perkusisty „Kuczego” (ex Dianoya). Chlopcy postanowili rzucic wszystko, by zajac sie tworzeniem muzyki, która bedzie nosnikiem dla rozpierajacej ich energii i która uwolni podobna energie w innych. Obecnie sklad wspóltworza: Zu Pytlinska, utalentowana wokalistka, ceniona teksciarka i charyzmatyczna frontwoman (znana takze z formacji Sen Zu), Krzysiek Truong, jego niebanalne riffy i melodyjny wokal oraz Grzesiek Kowalski – demon gitary basowej. Poprzez swoja muzyke i przekaz YOGA TERROR promuje pozytywne nastawienie do zycia, otwartosc na róznorodnosc kulturowa i tolerancje dla odmiennosci.

W 2010 r. ukazala sie debiutancka EP’ka „Palace Of Cultures”, a utwór „Palac Kultury” przez kilka tygodni utrzymywal sie w czolówce „Turbo Top” Antyradia. Zespól YOGA TERROR zagral niezliczona ilosc koncertów, dzielac scene m.in. z takimi artystami jak Zbigniew Holdys, Proletaryat, Hunter, Dzem, Lombard, Star Guard Muffin czy Enej, a „elektryczne” i „akustyczne” wystepy zespolu na zywo spotykaja sie niezmiennie z uznaniem w mediach i zainteresowaniem w branzy muzycznej. Obecnie zespól intensywnie pracuje nad nowymi kompozycjami i promuje swój najnowszy singiel "Lion's Share" przy pomocy unikalnego gadzetu wlasnego pomyslu o nazwie FanDrive Yoga Terror (wiecej o FanDrive na stronie www.yogaterror.com/fandrive).
