Yogy is a fresh perspective to hip-hop. With new innovative sound, inspiring lyricism and an inviting spirit, he is sure to be a public icon.


Recording artist, Yogy was born and raised between Oakland and San Francisco, California, better known as “The Bay Area”, where the Hyphy Movement began. Coming from a broken home change, diversity and self-determination describes the music Yogy embodies. He brings fresh lyrics, ambition, sound and life back into Northern California hip-hop.  He began his music career in 2007, releasing a single entitled, “Dreads and Tapers,” that featured various upcoming Bay Area artists, with production by Super Dave and T-Case, which created a huge buzz on the West Coast. Yogy relocated to Los Angeles for a few years to take his career further, creating the single “I’m Dope”, which attracted over 45,000 unique YouTube views.

Yogy will be releasing his first full-length album “Kings Wear Crowns” later this year. Along with the album , he is also branding a clothing line and flash video game, also called "Kings Wear Crowns". With Legends such a San Francisco’s own Big Rich and the face of Oakland Too $hort stating that “He's the next big thing out of the Bay Area” his career looks promising for the near future.
