Yokoko have recieved airplay on BBC Radio bristol introducing, BBC6 introducing with Tom Robinson, Kooba Radio, Radio Reverb.
Yokoko have recently been chosen by Coca-Cola and Paste Magazine(US) to have one of our tracks "Sally Doesn't Care" used in their "Under The Radar Acts" ringtone promotion beginning in March 2009.
A highlight of last year was headlining the Cabaret tent on the Saturday night of Beachdown Festival.

Yokoko was formed by Sam and Sev in 2008 when they both finally came to terms with their love and devotion to pure pop music.
The songs are all carefully crafted with the aim of making each one catchier than the last, often having the audience singing along after hearing the chorus for the first time.
For us being a band is about having fun and enjoying it (no moody indie kids here) and we try to make music that people both drunk and sober will dance to, and so far it has worked!
