Born and raised in Carlsbad, NM Yolanda's Music comes from her Connection with Nature, Earth Mother, and her life's journey. A powerful unique voice that captures and hypnotizes people. When they hear her voice they recognize instantly who it is.
Yolanda grew up listening to Classic Country, Latin, Jazz and Rock.
Her Drumming Songs touch the soul, and her Strong wide range voice hits the core of your being. She is the Winner of "BEST FEMALE ARTIST" NAMMY/GRAMMY in 2004 for her NATIVE HEARTBEAT CD. Her more recent songs like RIDING THE WIND, SUMMER TIME and AMERICA, have also been nominated for a NATIVE E MUSIC AWARD. Yolanda won the NATIVE-E MUSIC AWARD for SUMMER TIME - BEST REMAKE. She performed this song as a last minute decision to close her CONCERT IN SWITZERLAND and brought the house down. Summer Time is getting lots of air time in Europe.

Yolanda has Toured the US and EUROPE doing Concerts at large Festivals, etc.
