Formed in 2004, the sublime sextet weaves lucid instrumentation with hurtin’ harmonies that induce tears, leers, and a powerful thirst for beers.
Yolassi’s recently completed full length CD, photo-ride, gets up close and personal as it was largely recorded ‘live off the floor’, putting you front and centre at a typical Yolassi show.
photo-ride’s toe-tappin’ blend of pop and alt-country reflects band member’s rich experience in numerous other folk, roots, pop and country bands. Following a string of successful shows in and around Toronto, Yolassi is currently booking 2006 shows and festivals.
