YOM

According to legend, Yom discovered his vocation when he was five years old, listening to Prokofiev's "Peter and the Wolf". It was then that his apprenticeship began, and he studied the classical clarinet before completing his education with an exploration of klezmer music in Eastern Europe. The various aspects of klezmer music became his favourite domain, and he continues to reinvestigate them, mixing their influences with those he discovered as an adolescent: rock and electronic music.
2010 saw the birth of his group Wonder Rabbis, in which Yom donned a super-hero costume to spread his love of music whatever its origins, whether in Eastern Europe or in more contemporary, more electric fields.
With Manuel Peskine, Sylvain Daniel and Emiliano Turi, in 2011 Yom released the album With Love, a record with a sound described as "psychedelic post-rock klezmer".
Spurred on by concerts all over France which have made feverish audiences get up and dance across the floor, Yom is currently preparing an even more passionate, thunderous second chapter of his adventures for release in autumn 2013 : The Empire of Love !
